Backend Developer

We are seeking a Backend Engineer who thrives on building scalable APIs and integrations that power AI-driven products. You'll design and develop the backbone of X-Demand — from model-serving APIs to ERP/e-commerce integrations — working closely with our Data Science and AI teams to bring intelligent systems into production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build REST/GraphQL APIs to serve ML model outputs (forecasting, pricing, inventory).
• Develop secure integration endpoints for external systems (POS, ERP, e-commerce).
• Work with Data/ML team to deploy models into production-ready services.
• Ensure API reliability, versioning, and documentation for internal & external use.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of backend services.
• Implement observability and monitoring tools to track API and model performance in production
