Back End Developer

Global SaaS provider – Fully remote – 6 months contract

I’m working with a global SaaS provider to hire a Senior Backend / Fullstack Engineer into a high-impact product team.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving existing Go services in production. This is not greenfield. You’ll be working within a distributed, event-driven architecture and expected to take ownership of delivery from product requirements through to production.

Must-have

Strong commercial experience in Go – maintaining and evolving existing services

Deep PostgreSQL expertise – schema design, query optimisation, performance tuning and safe database migrations

Kafka or similar messaging systems

Docker and Kubernetes – local development and AWS deployments

Able to work independently from product requirements, even where technical specifications are lightweight

Comfortable working with AI coding agents – either experienced already or ab...
