At DAF, we develop software “in house” for the engine and vehicle controllers. The products developed within Paccar Electronics - Embedded Engineering are applied on DAF trucks but also in the PACCAR brands Kenworth and Peterbilt. Through component sales our products are also used by leading bus and coach manufacturers.

To support all our programs, the Software Verification Department is verifying the software requirements on the target Electronic Control Units (ECU) making use of Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test environments. Majority of the testcases are executed manually in the past, but we are transitioning to automated tests. This internship contains migration of the manual testcases into automated testcases.

This assignment includes:

  • Analysis of the testcases & Requirements
  • Create a plan to migrate the testcases smoothly (Manual/Scripted/Hybrid)
