: Cloud-Native Database Administrator (DBA) – Microsoft Platform

Position Overview

We are seeking a Cloud-Native Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Microsoft Azure and SQL Server to manage and optimize our cloud-based database solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database deployment, security, performance tuning, automation, and high availability in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instance, SQL Server on Azure VMs, and other cloud-native database solutions.
  • Ensure database high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) using Geo-Replication, Failover Groups, and Backups.
  • Optimize cloud resources to balance performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor database query performance, indexing, and execution plans to improve response times.
