AWS/EMR Engineer 

IgniteAction is seeking an experienced AWS/EMR Engineer to provide end-to-end engineering and operational support for secure, cloud-based data processing environments used to produce protected data products for public and research use. This includes designing, administering, and optimizing scalable compute and storage platforms, supporting production workflows, and ensuring efficient, reliable operations through monitoring, automation, and DevOps practices. The team develops and maintains application code and tooling, integrates and tests approved disclosure avoidance methods, and supports both experimental and production data runs. Responsibilities also include governance of access, configuration management, cost efficiency, and system reporting. Overall, the effort ensures high-quality, compliant data products are delivered through resilient, well-managed cloud and hybrid environments.
