ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit 2x AWS Solutions Architects on a hybrid basis, on initial 6 month contracts (with potential extensions) on a rate of c.£600-£700/day outside of IR35 (based on experience).


The Role:

Our client requires two experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architects to work on their Cloud Migration project to migrate their on-premise estate to AWS Cloud.


Responsibilities:


The AWS Solution Architect role will:

  • Work within an architecture team to: analyse and assess the existing on-premises IT estate. define an alternative hosting strategy within Amazon Web Services develop a roadmap for migration of core services to cloud.
    define a migration strategy.
    Provide a level of technical governance to ensure the migration approach is carried out effectively within the tight deadlines.
