Job Description
Introduction
The AWS EKS Platform Engineer is responsible for implementing, operating, and optimizing Kubernetes-based platform capabilities on AWS. This role supports API Gateway migration to EKS, manages deployments and upgrades, ensures platform reliability, and contributes to operational excellence across logging, monitoring, automation, and on‑call readiness. The engineer collaborates with architects, platform leads, and DevOps teams to maintain a secure, scalable, and high‑performing cloud-native runtime.
Your Role And Responsibilities
Implement, configure, and maintain AWS EKS clusters, container runtimes, and supporting AWS services (IAM, VPC, Load Balancing, networking).
Support API Gateway → EKS migration by deploying containerized workloads and ensuring connectivity, routing, and integration patterns.
Perform deployments, upgrades, scaling operations, cluster configuration changes, and day‑2 operational tasks.
