OVERVIEW

The AV Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for meetings, conferences, events, and functions. This role ensures all technical requirements are met and events run smoothly.

THE JOBSCOPE

  • Set up, test, operate, and dismantle audio, visual, and lighting equipment for events.
  • Ensure microphones, projectors, LED screens, sound systems, and lighting are functioning properly.
  • Provide on-site technical support during events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Maintain and store AV equipment in good condition.
  • Coordinate with event planners, clients, and internal teams on technical needs.
  • Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on AV equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure proper handling of equipment.
