Automotive Fabrication Technician

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Automotive Fabrication Technician to support a unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.

Job Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles that have been in accidents.
• Fabricate body parts and brackets out of aluminum and steel.
• Work with the body/paint technician to bring the vehicle to a like‑new condition.
• Assist management in estimating damages and writing accident quotes.
• Safety : enforce a safety culture, complete all training requirements, participate in emergency response tasks, and serve on safety committees and teams.
