Job Title: Junior, Automation Technician Job Summary  Work with Automation Technicians as a plant resource to assist with line improvements automation initiatives, and realignment of existing and new equipment to improve product flow. Work in conjunction with the Maintenance and Engineering departments. Responsibility

Work with automation technicians, set up and maintenance department to reduce costs by removing non-value-added material/movement from production lines.

Assist automation technicians, program managers and project engineers at the APQP stage of a program start-up.

Understand and execute assigned work efficiently to minimize machine downtime.

Ensure automation projects are completed and continue to function efficiently and effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.

Ensure all new /rebuild equipment complies with CSA, OSHA, and Electrical Safety Code requirements. ...
