Automation Technician

Purpose of the Job
The Automation Specialist designs, implements, and maintains automated systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. The successful candidate will identify and analyse existing processes, develop automation solutions, and ensure systems operate smoothly.

Technical & Functional Competencies

• Robotic Experience, preferably ABB and Kawasaki


• PLC – Intermediate, including programming, fault finding and installation, preferably Mitsubishi and Omron


• Electro pneumatics / Project Management


• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner


• Creativity and analytical skills


• Able to multitask and prioritise workload load in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong problem- solving and organisational skills.


• Self-driven, motivated, resourceful individual who takes accountability for results
