Job Description
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Automation & Controls Technician maintains, troubleshoots, programs and repairs automated hvac system, central boiler & chiller plant, electrical distribution, irrigation and other controls systems and components, working with controls system suppliers and contracted controls integrators. They calibrate and validate correct operation of controlled devices throughout the facility and provide data reporting to support optimization, energy efficiency and GMP or GPP validation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts, HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, and Program Logic Control.
Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and repair automated systems within the Tweed, Inc. KIN facility with help from staff experts & technicians, third party engineers & controls system suppliers, and controls integration contractors.
