Overview

A friendly and inspiring school in Devizes is looking for an Autism Teaching Assistant to join their team either immediately or in September. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, and is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or a caring individual interested in specialist education.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students with communication, social cues, fine motor skills, self‑regulation, emotional expression and sensory processing.
• Help students academically, socially and emotionally to thrive in all areas of education.
• Manage any challenging behaviour that may arise and encourage positive decision making.

Qualifications & Experience

• Recent graduate or caring individual interested in specialist education.
• Excellent communicator with patient and resilient attitude.
