Job Duties:

• Provide support to students with autism in a special needs secondary school setting
• Assist in teaching life skills and promoting independence
• Manage behaviours that challenge in a calm and professional manner
• Work with non‑verbal students to facilitate communication

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with autism
• Understanding of secondary education curriculum
• Ability to handle and de‑escalate challenging behaviours

Experience:

Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:
