We are recruiting an Autism Support Assistant to work within a primary school supporting pupils on the autism spectrum.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide 1:1 autism support


  • Support sensory regulation and routines


  • Use visual supports and structured approaches


  • Work closely with teaching and SEN staff


  • Promote independence and engagement


    • Skills & Experience


  • Experience supporting autism is desirable


  • Calm, consistent and patient approach


  • Understanding of sensory needs


  • Strong teamwork skills
