Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including hearing, balance, and auditory processing assessments.
Diagnose hearing and vestibular disorders in patients of all ages.
Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
Provide patient counseling regarding hearing loss, treatment options, hearing conservation, and device usage.
Perform diagnostic testing such as pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), and auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Participate in community outreach, hearing screenings, and patient education initiatives as needed.
