Job Description
An Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, conferences, and other functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate microphones, speakers, projectors, LED screens, and video conferencing systems
- Install and configure AV equipment for meetings and events
- Conduct sound and video checks before events
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during events
- Maintain and repair AV equipment
- Coordinate with event organizers and clients regarding technical requirements
- Dismantle and properly store equipment after events
- Ensure equipment is handled safely and maintained properly
Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical certification in Electronics, IT, or related field with certificate
- Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role
