Job Role: Audio Validation Engineer - Python & Embedded Linux
Work Experience: 6 to 15 Years
Location: Bangalore
We are hiring an experienced Audio Validation Engineer to support next-generation consumer electronics platforms for leading semiconductor customers. This role requires strong expertise in audio codec validation, embedded Linux environments, and Python-based automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for audio systems and consumer electronic devices
Validate lossy and lossless audio codecs across different hardware platforms
Perform AV Sync and lipsync validation including presentation engine testing
Analyze frame-by-frame encode/decode performance and timing metrics
Design and enhance Python-based test automation (pytest) for endpoints
Provide test infrastructure enabling engineering teams to own service quality
Perform hardware-level debugging using JTAG, probes, and signal analyzers
