Job Description

Primary Purpose The District Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries across the district's sports programs. This role involves coordinating care with team physicians, managing district-wide safety protocols (e.g., concussion management), and providing on-site clinical services for practices and competitive events. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care & Injury Management Prevention: Design and implement injury prevention programs, including flexibility, strength, and conditioning consultations. Evaluation: Conduct immediate on-field assessments of acute injuries and provide emergency first aid or CPR as needed. Rehabilitation: Develop and supervise individualized rehabilitation protocols for injured athletes to ensure a safe return-to-play.
