Overview & Responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The primary purpose of this job is to perform inspection functions on raw material, parts and assemblies, assembled units and to assure that material is within prescribed specifications.

Assembly & Test (All Products); Packaging (All Products); Paint & Shipping; Hydrotest, E-Cell (Building 16) & Pipe Shop and other areas as needed.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

Various visual, vision, functional, mechanical and electrical inspection equipment, Coordinate Measuring Equipment, simple ultrasonic inspection equipment, material handling equipment, camera and computers as they relate to inspections and procedures described herein.

MATERIALS

A variety of raw materials, fabrications, purchased items, partially and finished machined parts, various assemblies, sub-assemblies and castings.
