Role Purpose Statement

The overall responsibility of the Associate Team Lead is to keep track of the Demurrage/Dispatch files of the team members, keep a track on the daily emails and ad-hoc requests coming from Freight and Commercial teams. Review each fixture's terms with respect to Demurrage, Detention and Dispatch Clauses and to calculate amounts due to each party for all marine shipments executed. Candidate should hold requisite Knowledge, Skills & be well versed with understanding / analyzing charter parties and voyage documents, clarify events with trade execution and freight departments, Invoice customers with full supporting documentation, handling / pursuing claims / dispute resolution, produce and retain documentation in accordance with internal and external policies & ensuring due compliance & business ethic...
