Job Summary

To execute strategic recruitment programs and advising services for secondary and post-secondary school students, parents, educational advocates and counsellors in Canada for the purpose of encouraging qualified prospective students to seek admission to UBC. Specifically, responsible for implementing strategies to attract students who self-identify as Black Canadian to consider UBC. Advise students with secondary and post-secondary credentials concerning UBC admission criteria and specific program requirements for admission to UBC undergraduate programs on both campuses. Support the advancement of Indigenous peoples’ human rights and UBC’s Foster access, success and representation at UBC of historically underserved, marginalized or excluded populations.

This position is located on our Vancouver campus and works in close collaboration with Okanagan campus colleagues and the Beyond Tomorrow Scholars Program staff on each campus.
