Associate, Private Equity

Overview

We are looking for a Associate, Private Equity for a new vacancy on our Toronto based investment team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a small group of senior PE investment professionals and participate in all aspects of the investment process: market research, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio company management.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate private equity investment opportunities. This will include: in-depth research, performing financial analysis, preparing presentation materials, and making investment recommendations
• Build financial and valuation models, conduct due diligence, and assist with overall deal execution
• Work closely with portfolio company management teams to help execute strategy and follow-on acquisitions, monitor financial and operational performance, and assist in performing company valuations
