Job Title: Power BI Report Tester Department: Data and Analytics Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: QA Lead or BI Delivery Manager Collaborates With: BI Developers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, SMEs Requirements Power BI Report Tester Technical Skills Experience testing Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets. Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation. Ability to validate DAX measures, calculated columns, and aggregations. Knowledge of Power BI Desktop & Service (workspaces, apps, refresh, RLS). Basic understanding of data modeling (fact/dimension, relationships). Testing Skills Create and execute test cases, test plans, RTM. Validate visuals, filters, drill-through, slicers, and interactions. Test RLS/OLS, permissions, and security scenarios. Perform performance testing using Performance Analyzer / DAX Studio (optional). Process & Tools Experience with QA tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
