Job Description

The Marketing Associate is creative and understands how fonts, colours, and icons create a brand story. They will be creating the foundation of the conference’s brand and need to be able to create original, authentic and engaging content.

Time Commitment

5-10 hours per week

Term of Employment

June 2026 – March 2027

Main Responsibilities

  • Creation of all social media graphics
  • Creation of stickers, banners and other merchandise for use in the competition and marketing materials
  • Support design of PowerPoints and conference assets (Posters, nametags, etc.)
  • Support the design aspects of corporate outreach packages
  • Contribute to external and corporate engagement, sustaining long-term, strategic relationships
  • Aid in the creation and maintenance of the design elements of SDR’s website
  • Follow the Director of Marketing's instructions and communicate timelines
