Job Description

The Role

  • Participate with Placement Leaders to conduct overall the placement strategy for the SME portfolio 
  • Should be recognized by others as a technical advisor in their field
  • Stimulate revenue growth and meet business objectives by placing new business, improving retention rates, increasing commission rates and utilizing Group resources
  • Market new business opportunities and secure coverage according to the local and regional plans and to meet client needs
  • Review renewal business for adequacy of coverage and competitive rates, following the SME guidelines
  • Negotiate terms for SME accounts and provide expertise for difficult to place business, that falls into the exceptions of the SME structured solutions
  • Support nationally based market relationships
  • Create, enhance and maintain effective relationships with carriers, clients, placement team and resolve conflicts as needed
