Overview

As an Associate, Legal Engineering at Litera, you will work with cutting‑edge tools to create legal technology solutions. This hybrid role is based in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh, or Toronto and requires on‑site presence at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to define and deliver new legal tech products and features.
  • Experiment with and test generative AI to improve product functionality, including prompting LLMs and training Kira on document data extraction.
  • Develop new smart fields and data points for securities and financing transactions.
  • Maintain understanding of legal domain developments and identify opportunities to add new smart fields.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements, efficiencies, and best practices.
