Job Description

Our client, a prominent law firm serving Hamilton for over 70 years, is looking for an experienced Insurance Defense Lawyer to join their team, for a hybrid role.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload and work closely with experienced counsel on a variety of insurance defense matters.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in insurance defense.
  • The ability to independently manage a caseload
  • Experience conducting examinations for discovery, mediations, pre-trial conferences, and motions
  • Experience with LAT case conferences and/or hearings
  • Small Claims Court experience is considered an asset

This is a new position with the firm. Compensation is $100K - $130K, depending on experience.
