Associate, HSSE

We are seeking an experienced Associate, HSSE to support the Manager, HSSE in implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving Vena Energy's Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) Management System across our Malaysia project sites. This role will work closely with EPC contractors and subcontractors to ensure HSSE compliance across all construction and site activities.

This is a site-based position, with the initial assignment located at a project site in Perak, Malaysia. It is offered as a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension or transition into a permanent role depending on performance and evolving project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of Owner HSSE requirements across EPC and subcontractor scopes; verify compliance and escalate systemic risks

• Oversee EPC HSSE Management System implementation, including documentation, permits, training, inspections, and critical controls
