Overview

The Centre for Remote Imaging, Sensing and Processing (CRISP) operates a high‑tech satellite ground station at the National University of Singapore. The centre manages multiple dish antennas that track, receive and process data from remote‑sensing satellites, and conducts active research on optical, infrared and microwave remote sensing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance of CRISP systems such as antennas, computer equipment and facilities.
  • Support monitoring of CRISP systems to detect faults quickly.
  • Help troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment and systems.
  • Participate in the control of satellites following successful training.
  • Assist in occasional administrative tasks such as stock checks and spare parts accounting.
  • Undergo certification for work‑at‑height and boom lift operation.
