Summary

Handle and maintain flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Input data manually into specific ERP, carrier or logistics systems in order to successfully transport materials to and from customers/providers.
• Ensure that all necessary documentation for the transport of materials is accurate.
• Prepare Bills of Lading, invoices, manifests, Shipper’s Export Declarations (SEDs) and other documentation.
• Interact with production areas in order to ensure that shipping commitments are executed on time.
• Interact with transportation providers in order to ship products.
• Tracks shipments to and from site.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
