Arterra Wines Canada is seeking a motivated Assistant Winemaker for a full-time, one-year contract. You will support the Winemaker in overseeing wine production, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in winemaking, along with strong organizational skills, will be crucial to achieving quality standards and contributing to our wine portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support oversight of wine production for quality assurance
• Ensure compliance with VQA certification standards
• Maintain accurate tank records in the management system
• Prepare trial blends and assist with VQA submissions
• Collaborate across teams to align on bottling schedules
