Summary/Objective The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for effectively managing the operation of a convenience store. Assures that all aspects of the business operate smoothly in the Store Managers absence. Responsibilities Ensure self and all employees provide professional, courteous, and timely service to all customers.Operate cash register, collect, verify, maintain proper cash levels and report all moneys due to the company.Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and ensure compliance with applicable age restricted product regulations such as lottery, tobacco, and alcohol.Demonstrate high standards and work ethics to others through words and actions.Complete all store housekeeping functions (i.e., dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, etc.).Maintain store and premises in a clean, healthful, attractive condition, and according to all company policies and applicable codes.Communicate in a timely and effective way, all problems an...
