Job Description
Assist the Director of Sales in developing and executing the annual group sales plan to achieve room night and revenue targets.
Proactively solicit new group accounts (corporate, social, association, tour & travel) through outside calls, site inspections, and industry networking.
Manage and qualify incoming group RFPs, ensuring response times under 2 hours and high conversion rates.
Lead hotel site tours and client presentations, showcasing meeting spaces, guest rooms, and event capabilities.
Negotiate and close group contracts including room blocks, attrition clauses, cutoff dates, and F&B minimums.
Supervise and mentor junior sales executives or coordinators, reviewing their contracts and lead activity.
Create and distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Group Resumes to operations teams, ensuring seamless event execution.
