Assistant Resource Developer

NNCEA is seeing a dedicated professional for the position of Assistant Resource Developer. This role is essential in support the development and improvement of Nihitho language and culture resources across our K-12 classrooms. This position reports and works closely with the Nihitho Language Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, revision, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Cree language and culture resources for our K-12 classrooms.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of Nihitho language, history, and cultural content included in instructional materials and programming.
• Work closely with the Nihitho Language Coordinator and Language and Culture department to ensure resources align with curriculum goals and community values.
• Organize, catalogue, and maintain language and culture resources to ensure they are accessible to educators.
