Source and procure core materials like CRGO/CRNGO steel, copper, aluminium, insulation materials, transformer oil, and bought-out components. Develop and manage vendor base, including evaluation, onboarding, and performance monitoring. Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance. Ensure timely procurement aligned with production planning and dispatch schedules. Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock. Coordinate with production, planning, QA/QC, and stores for requirement planning and material quality. Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
