Assistant Professor, Immunoengineering

Position Overview

The Schulich School of Engineering, in partnership with the Riddell Centre for Cancer Immunotherapy/Charbonneau Cancer Institute, Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute (ACHRI), and the Snyder Institute at the University of Calgary, invites national and international applications for a full-time, tenure‑track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, anticipated start date of May 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will be appointed as a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The candidate may be encouraged to join the Charbonneau Cancer Institute, ACHRI and/or Snyder Institute, depending on research interests. The role will contribute to research, student and postdoctoral supervision, undergraduate and graduate teaching, curriculum development, and service to the department, faculty and university.
