Responsibilities

• Conduct and develop research in special education nationally and internationally.
• Teach in the Faculty’s bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes, with Finnish as the primary teaching language and some instruction in English.
• Advance high‑quality research on learning difficulties, disabilities, learning and wellbeing of children, adolescents and adults.
• Develop evidence‑based education and practice that promotes inclusion and learning in early childhood education settings, schools and society.
