Assistant Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients as they enter the pharmacy.
• Dispense medication accurately following prescription dosage, proper packaging, and clear instructions.
• Provide concise medication instructions to patients and assist them with any questions.
• Support and train pharmacy staff, encouraging effective teamwork.
• Ensure every patient is attended to promptly and is satisfied with the service.
• Maintain orderly racks, ensuring that medicines and general products are correctly located and readily available.
• Manage inventory accurately, monitoring stock levels and preventing waste or shortages.
• Handle phone calls in the pharmacy, responding to customer queries with accurate information.
• Implement and improve quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines; collaborate closely with the Quality Manager.
