Assistant Nurse Manager

The job holder is responsible to ensure personalised, and cost-effective care is provided by nursing staff to residents in accordance to established policies and procedures, standards of nursing care and practices. He/She is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the ward/department assigned.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

• Oversee the team of RN/EN, NA/HA under his/her charge

·       Responsible for compliance of all nursing standards as stipulated by MOH and SNB

·       Work together with Nurse Manager(s) and Nurse Clinician(s) with regard to the quality assurance activities by monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of nursing care of the ward

·       Work with quality assurance committees to plan, conduct and evaluate quality audits periodically and follow up with corrective improvements
