Assistant Medical Coder (Night)

PRG Pakistan is looking to hire a suitable candidate for the vacant position of Assistant Medical Coder , for our office in Gujranwala . The ideal individual would be a great team player, with an eye for detail in the documentation and all related tasks. This is an entry-level position, open for the residents of Gujranwala only. Responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient medical records and documentation to assign appropriate US medical codes
• Translate healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into standardized coding for billing and recordkeeping
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of coded data with federal regulations and insurance requirements
• Chart audits to detect errors and discrepancies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to clarify diagnoses and obtain additional documentation as needed
