Assistant Manager – Logistics

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound logistics.

  • Responsible for all inward materials unloading / accounting & Preparation of Goods inward note & allocate work to concerned operators and maintaining records for accounting and to ensure availability of materials at proper storage locations.

  • Planning and arranging for transportation of materials from / to sub-contract suppliers in consultation with Stores colleagues – responsible for sending materials.

  • To ensure & plan for proper vehicles & co-ordinate with transporters, based on receipt of Out bound dispatch documents in Consultation with Packing, Contract Management, Technical sales support & Finance for dispatch of Finished Goods.

  • Responsible for Preparation of Packing Slips & forwarding the same to packing section.
