Job Description
1. Research & Evidence Building
- Conduct thorough secondary research on global and local ed-tech practices, learning science principles, and relevant pedagogical innovations.
- Review academic literature, evaluation reports, and case studies to identify promising models and evidence-based practices.
- Develop research memos, briefs, and evidence summaries to inform decision-making.
- Understand and apply foundational research methods, including:
- Qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups, observations)
- Quantitative methods (surveys, basic analysis, descriptive and inferential reasoning)
- Impact evaluation methods (RCTs, quasi-experiments, and theory-driven evaluation); strong theoretical understanding is also valued.
- Explore and map global organisations, platforms, and tools that support learning in low-resource contexts.
