Job Description
Position Summary The Assistant Maintenance Leader is responsible for providing leadership within the Maintenance Department in the Baking facility, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and sanitation. This role supports the Maintenance Department Leader through assisting to lead the team of mechanics, overseeing mid-size capital projects, and ensuring smooth operations of preventative maintenance programing.
Key Job Responsibilities Execute the Bakery’s preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operational performance of bakery equipment and processes.
Plan, organize, direct, and control the work performed by Mechanics utilizing the plant’s PM program.
Provide coverage in the absence of the Maintenance Department Leader and technical support for controls, electrical, and mechanical systems and equipment.
Manage and improve all components and software required to efficiently operate a primarily automated manufacturing line.
