Smitty's is one of Canada's largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from coast to coast. Almost all our restaurants are fully licensed, and a majority have separate lounges to accommodate teams, sports fans, and the happy hour crowd. Smitty's is looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager based out of Winnipeg. This candidate will ideally have 3 years of chef experience with 1 year in a similar management role.

Duties include (but are not limited to)

Management duties:

  • Perform kitchen audits

  • Assist in the opening of new locations

  • Train all BOH positions

  • Troubleshoot/assist with maintaining proper food costing

  • Coach and train all staff on proper takeout and delivery practices

  • Ongoing food development

  • Menu changes and additions

  • Development of new menu items
