Assistant Herdsman - Mitchell

Job Summary

The Assistant Herdsman is responsible for supporting the day-to-day farm operations under the direct supervision of the Herdsman.

Pay is DOE (Depends on Experience) and will be discussed at interview.

Shifts are Mondays and Thursdays 5:30am - 4:00pm. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Weekends on a rotating schedule. Hours can be flexible.

This role focuses on maintaining herd health through proper care, feeding, and monitoring, as well as assisting with bull collection and ensuring that facilities are kept in excellent working condition. The Assistant Herdsman plays a key role in promoting animal well-being, safety, and operational efficiency.
