Assistant Head Rowing Coach (Fixed Term contract August 26-July 27)

We are seeking to recruit an appropriately experienced Rowing Coach to provide support to the Head of Rowing and to provide coaching for pupils at Senior School stages. The Assistant Head Rowing Coach is responsible for coaching Rowing to pupils aged 13-18 years. They are required to run sessions independently, from the planning and implementation of coaching sessions through to crew selection and organisation for fixtures. The Assistant Head Rowing Coach is expected to deputise for the Head Rowing Coach in their absence and to play an active role in assisting with the management and development of the Rowing provision at Heriot’s. The position is for weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings during Term Time and will require travelling with pupils to away fixtures as required, including at weekends.
