Job Summary
The Assistant Head Chef supports the Head Chef in the overall management of kitchen operations for Chef Laudico at Forest Hills. The role ensures consistent food quality, smooth daily kitchen execution, compliance with food safety standards, and effective coordination between kitchen, service, and events operations within the club.
The Assistant Head Chef is expected to lead by example, supervise kitchen staff, and step in as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the absence of the Head Chef.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations & Food Quality
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily food preparation, cooking, and plating across all service areas (restaurant, sports bar, veranda, banquets, and events)
- Ensure all dishes meet Chef Laudico standards for taste, presentation, portioning, and consistency
