A well-established company in the heavy-duty / industrial sector is looking for a detail-driven, resilient Assistant Financial Manager to support the Financial Manager and play a key role in the full finance function.
Requirements:
BCom Accounting or BCom Finance
SAICA Articles completed or CIMA qualification
3–5 years' experience as an Assistant Financial Manager / Financial Manager
Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or heavy-duty environments (highly advantageous)
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS 16 (Leases)
Duties:
Support the Financial Manager with day-to-day financial management
Prepare monthly management reporting packs
Drive month-end and year-end close processes
Handle balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
