Assistant Financial Controller (12 Month Contract)

Key responsibilities

• Support the Finance Controller in managing day-to-day financial operations and controls
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing clear commentary and insights
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately, with prompt resolution of reconciling items
• Contribute to the year-end close process and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit
• Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Support the development and submission of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
